Clara Belle Pannell passed away on June 18, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK. Services have been entrusted to Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services. Visitation will be held on June 24, 2020 at 11:00 am at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service-South Chapel, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK. Funeral Service will be held on June 25, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Southern Hills United Methodist Church, 8200 S. Pennsylvania, Oklahoma City, OK. Commital Service will be held on June 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13313 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK.

Born Clara Belle Denniston, eldest daughter of George & Ethel Denniston, early day pioneers. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Irma Bridgewater, and husbands, Robert Hill & James Pannell. She married Robert E. Hill February 15, 1941 and they spent 34 years together and had been residents of both Odessa, Texas and Casper, Wyoming. She was a credit manager for 25 years and a past member of American Business Women. In later years, she married James M. Pannell and retired to ranching & traveling. After his death, she returned to Oklahoma City in 1988. She is a member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church, she joined Family Force at OCU and had 4 students from Malaysia. Clara has been very active in church work in past years. She graduated from Classen High School in 1939 and attended Odessa Junior College. She is survived by a nephew, Dennis Bridgewater of Broken Arrow, OK; niece, Nancy Dunavan of Glen Haven, CO; 2 great nieces & nephews, and 7 great-great nieces.
