A celebration of life service for "Cindy" will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Southgate Pentecostal Holiness Church, 206 S Janeway Ave., Moore, OK 73160. A graveside service will occur Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Fort Sill National Cemetery, 2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd., Elgin, OK 73538.
Lucinda Ruth Dressler was born on February 17th, 1945, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 25th, 2021. Cindy, as she was known by those who loved her, married her sweetheart, Don, on August 21st, 1964, in Choctaw, OK.
Don and Cindy made their home of 40 years in Wadsworth, OH, and raised three boys before moving to Moore, OK, in 2004. After surviving the devastating tornado of 2013, they moved to Norman where Cindy lived out the remainder of her days.
Cindy enjoyed many years cheering on her boys playing baseball and later her grandkids playing baseball and softball. She also spend countless nights and weekends singing with City of Flags in Ohio, Sweet Adelines and Sooner Sensations in Oklahoma City, as well as the Oklahoma City Chorus. Cindy was very involved with her church and loved her get-togethers with the “Girlfriends” lunch group, and any opportunity to share the word and love of Jesus Christ.
Cindy is preceded in death by her son, Rob, her brothers, Mike and William, and her mother and father, Ruth and Louis Alfonso.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald Ivan Dressler Jr., her son, Donald Dressler III and his wife Chris, her son, Rick Dressler, daughter in law, Michelle Gladding Dressler, daughter in law, Liz McSpadden and her husband Mark McSpadden, her son Jeff Willis and his wife Karen, her grandson, Devon Dressler, her granddaughter, Abby Dressler, her granddaughter, Katy Harvill, her grandson, Jeffrey Willis, her granddaughter, Caitlin Willis, her sister, Mary Jo Mangum, and her sister, Margaret Adams and her husband Steve.
