Chris C. Dolan

Christopher C. Dolan, IV, 79 year-old resident of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away October 3, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born July 20, 1935 in Sapulpa, OK, he was the son of Chris C. Dolan, III and Caroline (Thompson) Dolan. Chris was a longtime meat-cutter and a member of the Meat-Cutter’s Union. He loved fishing; Gospel Music; going to Church; and spending time with his family especially his many grandchildren. Chris was preceded in death by his parents; 1 daughter, DeEtta Knight; and 2 grandchildren, Curtis and Kevin. Survivors include his wife Mariee Dolan and their granddaughter Shelly Knight of the home; 3 sons, Bud and his wife Debra Dolan of McLoud, OK; Christopher C. Dolan, V and his wife Emerald of Newalla, OK; and Jim and his wife Christy Dolan of Guthrie, OK; 2 daughters, Janet Moyer of Guthrie, OK: and Cindy and her husband Robert Caswell of Independence, MO; 1 step-son, Nathan Louis Stout of Shawnee, OK; 1 step-daughter, Raini and her husband Dan Miller of Flower Mound, TX; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 brothers, David Dolan of Tulsa, OK; Jim Dolan of Sapulpa, OK: and Billy Dolan of Florida; 2 sisters, Linda Briggs of Fletcher, OK; and Ruth Wickham of Sapulpa, OK: and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Crossroads Church (Shields and S. 89th) with burial following at Kolb Cemetery, Spencer, Oklahoma.
