Carolyn Solomon of Edmond went to her heavenly home April 21, 2018. Born March 5, 1924 in Ada, OK, she was the daughter of Clint and Goldie Phillips. Carolyn was a wonderful wife and mother who dearly loved her family and friends. Her faith, kindness and consistently positive outlook on life were a model for us all.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Leonard Solomon. Carolyn leaves behind daughters Linda (John) Schilt of Muskogee, OK, and Cynthia Solomon of Coppell, TX; Sons Carl (Carol) of Norman, OK and Larry (Diane) of Dallas, TX; as well as 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Lightning Ridge Cemetery near Roff, OK, on Saturday, April 28, at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
