Carolyn Graduated from Star Spencer High School, Class of 1962. After high school she worked several jobs, and started her family. In 1973 she started with Tinker Air Force Base, where she later retired.
She made her home in Midwest City, where she loved to bake cake and pies for family and friends. She made wedding cakes for all of her nieces and nephews. She loved her family, and was happiest with grandchildren in her lap or crawling/running around her home.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a husband Sam (Junior) Hammer, a sister Joyce Trude, and grandson Randy Hammer. Survived by her sons John & Deanna of Midwest City, James & JP of Midwest City, Terry & Marty of Oklahoma City. Her Brothers and Sisters John & Linda Stockton of Albuquerque NM, Judy and Gary Jackson of Beggs, OK, James & Sharion Stockton of Harrah, OK, JoAnne & Mike (deceased) Sullivan of Midwest City, OK and Jackie & Greg Johnson of Midwest City, OK. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home with interment to follow at Ferrell Cemetery in Harrah, OK.
