Carol Ann Fuller, 81, passed away Friday July 6, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born June 1, 1937 in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania to Delmar Sr. and Alta (Bentz) Decker. When Carol was a teenager, her family moved to Shawnee, OK where she graduated from Shawnee High School in 1955. She met her loving husband, Robert Fuller in 1979 and they were married November 8, 1980. Carol had a wonderful sense of humor, and more often than not, was the life of any party or gathering. She had a passion for life and took great pride in her family. She loved to socialize and play games with anyone who walked in her door. Carol was an excellent friend and neighbor and enjoyed visiting with all who knew her. She also enjoyed a good road trip with her best friend, Jerene. Carol’s smile and laughter will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert (2006); and her brother, Delmar P. Decker, Jr. (2001). She is survived by her children, Michael Paul Higley, Holly Elizabeth Freeman, and Gregory Lynn Higley; step-children, Cindy Rush and husband Lynn, and Brenda Wright; 8 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and very special nieces and nephews, Linda and Larry Cuba, Robert Decker, Judy Silves, Delmar Decker III, and Jan Redmond.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Guardian West Funeral Home.
