Carol Gay Duvall

She is joined in Heaven with her husband, Verle George “Bud” of 37 years and her two sisters; Patsy Tanksley and Sue Branstetter. She is survived by her brother, Arnold Newton and wife, Dean, of Harrison, Arkansas; sister, Kay Rodgers and husband, R.J. of Phoenix, Arizona; children, V.G. Duvall Jr of Houston, Texas; Donna Santos of Norman, Oklahoma; Farley Duvall and wife, Micki, of Edmond, Oklahoma; Mike Duvall and wife, Regina, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Kim Balke and husband, Casey, of Edmond, Oklahoma; and Lance Duvall and wife, Ruth, of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Carol loved being around family, was an excellent cook, and always enjoyed cooking for family gatherings. Over the years, she collected a large library of cookbooks and recipes. She also loved working in the yard with her many plants and she loved being around her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service officiated by Harold Branstetter on Friday, March 2, 2018, at 11:00 am, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
