Bridgette Dawn Tatum, made her debut in this world to her parents Tiffany R Pruitt and D. Aaron Tatum, Jr. on August 8th 1995 weighing 6 lb. and 14 oz. Bridgette's Family moved from Oklahoma to Ohio for a short period of time when her Step Father was on Active Duty in the Army. Shortly thereafter her Family moved to Ft Hood, TX for the next 7 years. She moved back to Ohio for another 4 years, before returning home to Oklahoma where she continued to reside. 27 years 5 months and 15 days after excitedly announcing her birth, her parents had the duty of making a heartbreaking announcement. On January 23rd 2023, Bridgette Dawn Tatum's Soul had departed its earthly confines and went to join her Heavenly Father, where she was welcomed by her Grandmother L. Raelene Pruitt, Great Grandmother's Lula Gullett, Christine Pruitt, Jean Tatum, Onita House and her Great-Great Grandmother Ethel Gullett, along with her Great Grandfather's Earl Pruitt, Alden Gullett, Sherman Tatum and Robert House.
Bridgette had a beautiful, "Old Soul" whose fondest wish was to help as many people as she could with whatever time was given to her. Bridgette always saw the beauty and potential in everyone she met and chose to accept each person who came into her life just as they were. She was kind, loyal, stubborn, very generous, and she loved with everything she had. She absolutely adored her 2 young boys and was looking forward to watching them grow into men. She loved nothing more than spending time with her beautiful boys at the river on long lazy summer days or any day really and just watching them play. Her dream of being a photographer had been finally realized during her many trips to the river and from there it began to truly bloom. She had a natural talent at capturing the beauty of a moment, preserving it perfectly for all time and like her photos, she touched the many lives and hearts of all those she met, forever leaving her radiant smile and loving generosity in their memories and hearts...never to be forgotten. This world lost a very special treasure when her Soul was set free. Her Family and Friends will mourn the great loss of her for some time, for she was loved greatly, and greatly is how she will always be missed.
She is survived by her 2 young Sons, Xavier & Ronin Kapalin, her Mother, Tiffany Pruitt-Hatfield, her father, D. Aaron Tatum, Jr., Step-Father's Jonathan Hatfield and Eric Evans, Step Mother's, Shannon Lee and Stephanie Miller, her 4 siblings who included, 2 Sisters, Alorra Ballard with husband Johnny Ballard, Alaynna Evans with husband, Isaac Sorrells, 1 Brother, Connor Evans and 1 Step Sister, Adara Macy. She also left behind 4 Nephews and 2 Nieces, several Aunts and Uncles and a host of Cousins, as well as, her closest friends, siblings, Christian and Christeena Cox and their Family.
