Brenda Ann Evans

Brenda Ann Evans, 64 of Choctaw, OK passed away June 13, 2016. She was born October 20, 1951 in Oklahoma City, OK. She married Ronald Joe Evans April 3, 1969. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Blackaby; mother, Ruth Blackaby Daves; sister, Mary Whitiker; daughter, Sherri Dawn Evans; nephew, C.J. Blackaby; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Evans; son, Chris Evans and his wife Marva; two grandsons, Chase Evans and Bryce Evans; granddaughter, Allison Greb and her son Levi French; two brothers, Eldon Blackaby and his wife, Sherry; Phil Blackaby and his wife, Suzanne; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Brenda owned and operated, along with her husband, Ronald, their electrical contracting business All Star Electric for 37 years. Brenda was also a member of ESA Alpha Omega chapter out of Choctaw. They raised funds and did volunteer work for St Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis Tennessee and Peppers Ranch in Guthrie Oklahoma. She loved to scrapbook, but she wanted most of her spare time spent with her grandsons along with her family and friends and for all to gather at their lake place.

Visitation with the family will be 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, June 24, 2016 at Bethel Church in Choctaw, OK interment will be at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK.
