Brenda Carol Aiken

Brenda Carol Aiken, 53 year-old resident of Choctaw, OK, passed away September 14, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born October 14, 1962 in Oklahoma City, OK, she was the daughter of Weldon Ledford and Edith Luseal Swearingen Ledford. Brenda was a longtime employee of Farmer’s Insurance Company working in claims. She loved creating crafts, going to Lake Eufaula, and enjoyed wine tasting. Brenda was active in kid’s groups including Awana’s, Children’s Church, and she served as Team Captain for Harrah’s Relay for Life team. Brenda was an active member of Choctaw Road Baptist Church, serving in the Church Choir, teaching Sunday School and children’s activities. Preceding her in death were her parents and 1 brother, Archie Ledford. Survivors include her husband, Kevin of the home; 1 daughter, Stefani Aiken and Benjamin Bluhm of the home; 4 sisters, Donna and her husband Steven Sherman of MWC, OK; Melinda Harris of Choctaw, OK; Rhonda and her husband, Jerry Williams of Choctaw, OK; and Ruth and her husband Kent Allsebrooke of MWC, OK; 1 sister-in-law, Clara Ledford of Valley View, TX; and a host of other relatives including nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Choctaw Road Baptist Church, 14971 E. Reno Ave., Choctaw, OK with burial to follow in Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK.
