Bradford Joe Cooper, age 58, passed away February 22, 2016. He was born June 13, 1957 to Bob and Robbie Cooper who preceded him in death. Brad married the love of his life Valerie Alexis in Oklahoma City. They would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary June 1, 2016. Brad worked for Xerox in Oklahoma City until its closing. He attended Francis Tuttle Technology Center and OSU OKC where he earned his degree. He was employed by St. Anthony Hospital where he worked for 14 years as a respiratory therapist. Brad is survived by his wife Valerie, devoted step-son Brandon, loving and dedicated mother-in-law Sue Elespuru, loving, compassionate and generous aunts and cousins Pat Miracle, Pat Erhard, Marcella Shaver and Linda & Bob Langley and family, one brother Kevin, his wife, and nieces and nephews. On his mother’s side of the family, he is survived by Uncle Gene Miracle, Carleen Dean, Mary Lee Fitzpatrick, and numerous cousins. Brad was an avid reader of history books, Native American Indian history, and National Geographic to surfing magazines. He loved family gatherings; and became the “family story teller”, camping, movies, our precious dogs, and most of all traveling to new and exciting places with our best friends. Brad never lost his amazing sense of humor that made him so special to us all. Brad’s work family (Respiratory Therapy Department) took excellent care of him during his many hospitalizations. My special thanks to staff and management of Windsor Hills Skilled Nursing Facility, who provided tender care and kindhearted attention on every shift. My deepest gratitude to Hospice for the gracious and compassionate care devoted to Brad and the steadfast comfort and assurance given to me during this difficult time.
