Bonnie Sue Owens

Bonnie Sue Owens (Uselton) born September 2, 1935 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Ervin B. and Irene C. Uselton (Terry). Bonnie was a long-time resident of Midwest City having moved there from Guthrie as a young teenager. Bonnie married Boyd B. Owens and together established their residence in Midwest City, sharing 46 years together. To their union were born four daughters and one son.

Bonnie is proceeded in death by her parents, husband (Boyd), son (Scotty), sister Joann Cantrell and brothers Bob Schulz (Bessie), Bud Uselton (Wanda), John Uselton, Bill Uselton and Jerry Uselton (Jewel).Bonnie is also preceeded in death by life-long friend Barbara Miller.

Bonnie is survived by daughters Cynthia Brice, Carol Monk (Carl), Lisa Ledbetter (Michael) and Kimberly Stephens (Charles). Grandchildren Sarah, Jacob, Emily, Jessica, Bonnie Jo, Khristina, Charlie, and Kenneth. Great grandchildren Ryleigh, Nathan, Peyton, Maria, Deni Boyd, Joshua, Westley, Sydney, Jackson and Jameson. Bonnie is also survived by her beloved brother Steve Uselton (Karen) whom she loved dearly as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Bonnie enjoyed many travels with family and friends, and touched many lives in many places with her kindness and gentleness. She was a loving mother and Nana to her children and grandchildren. She drew people as the moon draws water, especially children, and was Nana to all.

Bonnie passed from her earthly sojourn to join the angels in heaven on February 20, 2022.
