Bobby Joe Seal

Bobby Joe Seal, age 86, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Bobby was born December 31, 1933 in Southmayd, Texas. A visitation for Bobby will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service-South Chapel, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A visitation will occur Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 10:00 AM, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A burial will occur Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, SW 56th St., Wheatland, OK 73097.

Bob was born December 31, 1933 in Southmayd, Texas into a loving family of five sons and one daughter. Bob joined the U.S Navy where he served on the USS Oriskany for four years. While his family sincerely appreciated his service to his county, they also appreciated the fact that he learned to be a great cook during his time on the ship.

Bob worked in heat and air for over 50 years. While at Drabek and Hill, he met Billie Sutterfield and they married after a short period of time. They celebrated their 41st anniversary on July 27, 2020. Bob had a great sense of humor and loved to tell Billie, “Hey, you’re not the boss of me.”

Bob never fathered children of his own, but he raised three adopted children, three grandchildren, then became a dad for four of Billie’s children. He was an outstanding dad and granddad to all of them.

His sons, Robert and Bobby, his daughter, Patti, his granddaughter, Kaitlyn, and his son-in-law, Vince, have all gone before him. He leaves behind his wife, Billie Jean, daughters, Dorothy and Shari, sons,

Tommy and Steve, niece, Debbie Carol, and a loving group of grandkids and great grandkids.

He was a dedicated Christian whose life truly exemplified his faith. While we grieve losing him, we are confident that we will all see him again in Heaven.
