Billy Ray Tucker, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Billy was born on March 4, 1959 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to parents Bill & Bessie (Scott) Tucker. Billy was a graduate of the Choctaw High School in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Billy was both an automotive machinist and a pastor. He enjoyed preaching, fishing, singing, and telling a lot of stories. He also enjoyed the sport of basketball and going to Branson, Missouri. Most of all he enjoyed becoming a soldier in God's army and being a loving Papa for his family. Billy pastored at both the Living Waters Full Gospel Church and the World Harvest Pentecostal Church.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents Bill & Bessie Tucker; wife, Debra Kay Tucker whom he married on June 3, 1978; brother-in-law, Donald Wayne Duncan; and his nephew, Vaughn Wayne Duncan.
He is survived by his daughter, Serena Barker & husband Matthew; son, Willie Jarboe & wife Paula; sister, Georgia Carson & husband Louis Sarkozi; sister, Carolyn Brown; grandchildren: Hannah Rae' Ann Barker, Hazel Marie Rose Barker, Desirae Rose Tice, Leah Chaves, Kim Spann, Samuel Tallent, Brandon Mercer, Sydney Mercer, Mykayla Tallent; great-grandchildren: Kiera and Ariah, Oliver; nephews: Darrel Brown, Jeffery Brown, Chris Wayne Duncan, Scott Perry; nieces: Stephani Perry, Melissa Miller, Kimberly, Dawn "Red" Hooks, along with their spouses and children; as well as lots of congregation members, friends, and other family members.
Billy Ray Tucker's last request was that any friends and family who are able to please donate to a savings account that has been made for his granddaughter's Hannah & Hazel Barker.
A visitation for Billy will be held Friday, September 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home.
