Bill is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Donna. They were married in Watonga, OK on October 11, 1958 and have 4 children Reyna Goerke of Yukon, OK, Shelly Yaeger of Dallas, TX, Burt (Lori) Rieck of Edmond, OK and Brian (Jennifer) Rieck of Trophy Club, TX. He has 9 grandchildren Austin (Jordan) Goerke, Kale (Kaitlyn Haelzle) Goerke, Zakrey (Kensi) Goerke, Amber (Will) Walter, Tara Yaeger, William Rieck, Andrew Rieck, Ryan (Logan) Stone and Brayden Rieck. He also has 4 great-grandchildren Sutton Goerke, Palmer Goerke, Ramsey Stone and Roman Stone with another great granddaughter on the way.
Bill was born in Southard, OK on November 22, 1937. He graduated from Watonga High School and attended the University of Oklahoma. He was the epitome of an entrepreneur owning various businesses from gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, trucking companies and a tree trimming business all of which spanned from Watonga, OK, Las Vegas, NV, Scottsdale, AZ, Dallas, TX and back to Yukon, OK where he and Donna made their beautiful home.
Bill loved everything outdoors including family time at the lake, flying his small plane and driving around the country with Donna while they owned the trucking companies.
Service of worship, praise and giving thanks for the life of Bill will be held on Saturday, September 24th at 3:00 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church located at 3600 NW Expressway, OKC, OK 73112 with Pastor Henschel and Pastor Harms officiating. A Committal will be held immediately following the service at Frisco Cemetery, 14200 W. Britton Rd., Yukon, OK and a gathering afterwards at Surrey Hills Lions Club Park, 10700 Hastings Avenue, Yukon, OK 73099.
