Billy C. Carter

Billy C. Carter, 89 year-old resident of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Born Feb. 9, 1930 in Conway, Arkansas he was the son of Homer Gilbert Carter and Artie Angeline (Kersey) Carter. Billy was a former longtime resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma and had been a dental technician who owned and operated “Bill’s Dental Lab” for many years. Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, Izola Carter, two sisters and one brother, one niece and one nephew. Billy was an avid OU Football fan, fishing and boating at the lake were important, and he loved the “Ladies” at all times. Survivors include two daughters, Gloria and her husband Keith McBroom of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and Linda and her husband Wolf Gugler of Shawnee, Oklahoma; three granddaughters, Angie, Mandy, and Lori; four great-grandchildren, Kenna, Justice, Emma, and Keegan; and two nieces. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N. Midwest Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73141 with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
