Billy "Joe" Joseph Batt

It is with great sadness that the family of Billy Joseph Batt announces his passing, on Friday, December 2, 2022, at the age of 93 years. Joe was born on January 14, 1929 in Dalhart, Texas to William and Marie Batt of McLoud, Oklahoma. He was a resident of Jones, Oklahoma for the past 32 years. Joe served in both the Army and Navy, then retired from Southwestern Bell after over 30 years. He enjoyed taking care of his acreage and camping with friends.

Joe will be lovingly remembered by his children Butler Batt (Kay), Patty Popper (Bob), Tonda Fields (Eugene) and his stepchildren, James Jennings and Richard Winans. Joe will also be fondly remembered by his 4 grandchildren Suzanne, William, Jake and MacKenzie; by his 7 step-grandchildren, Billy Joe, Michael, Justin, Joanna (Ellery), James Jr., Leanna and Ashley; his 3 great-grandchildren, Jackson, Tyler and Ryan; his 10 step-great-grandchildren, Christopher, Jacob, Mason, Justin, Bowen, Anthony, Jackson, Gunner, Josie, Raven and by many extended family and friends. Joe was predeceased in death by his parents, brothers Harry "Sonnie", Robert "Bob" and James "Jim" Batt, his wife Patricia and step-children David Jennings and Joseph Winans.

The viewing will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 N.E. 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The funeral service in memory of Joe will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11:00am, at the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 N.E. 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in the family plot at Jamison Cemetery.
