Betty Jane “ Grandma” Wallace was born February 27, 1935 and passed away February 14, 2011 at the age of 75 at home in Jones, Oklahoma. She worked for the Department of Transportation, ran Albritton’s Flowers in Jones, and played the organ for her church for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Dean Wallace, her parents, Robert Lee and Iva Elizabeth Albritton, and son-in-law, James Capps. She is survived by her daughter, Ramona Capps of Tulsa; sons: Philip Wallace and wife Janice of Meeker, and Paul Wallace and wife Cherrie of Jones; grandchildren: Leia and Shamus Moore of Weatherford, Michael and Jodi Wallace of Edmond, Shawna Capps of Oklahoma City, Candace and Logan Whitebead of El Reno, Christopher Wallace of Overland Park, KS, Nicholas Wallace of Jones, and A.J. Capps of Tulsa; great-grandchildren: Brendon Whitebead, Layla Moore, Riley Whitebead, and Kailey Moore. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Jones First Baptist Church with burial to follow at Jones I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
