Betty L. Hamm, 86 of Choctaw, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013. She was born August 25, 1927 in Winfield, Kansas to Theodore and Bessie (Nunemaker) Rader. Betty loved to crochet and many babies stayed warm and cozy in her blankets. She also enjoyed crocheting dolls, quilting and other crafts and fishing. Betty loved animals especially her cats and dog, Katie, and was known to have a pet pig. She is survived by 2 sons, Ricky Hamm and wife Kathy and Russell Hamm; 2 grandchildren, Cassandra “Cricket” Hamm and Dean “Yogi” Hamm; 1 brother; 6 sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Buck Hamm; parents; son, Rocky; and one infant. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2103 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73141 with burial to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Norman, Oklahoma.
