Betty Jean (Morgan) Felder, 83 of Blanchard, Oklahoma was born on July 5th, 1937 and left this world on May 5th, 2021. Our hope & prayer is that her spirit is now in heaven, enjoying & worshipping in the presence of the Lord and gathering with all our departed loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her husband Earl (Cotton) Felder, her Father Cecil Morgan, Mother Gladys Green-Morgan and Grand-Daughter Celestae’ Taitano.
She and her husband were married for 48 years, until his death. Immediate survivors are her daughter Darla Delane, son David Felder, his wife Shelly, granddaughter Stephanie, & great-grand-daughter Pierce Elan. She recently spoke of a special place in her heart for her weekend caregiver Kristen Unger.
Betty’s husband Earl was in the military and they lived in several different states including Kansas, Illinois & Texas and spent 3 years in Germany. After moving back to their hometown in OKC, Betty worked for The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) -until taking retirement. She enjoyed OU Football with her daughter, country music, and dancing. You could find her and Earl throughout the years frequenting the different rotary club dance floors with all their friends.
Betty was a kind & loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Neighbor, Friend and Fur Momma. She was a very generous woman almost to a fault, and cared for everyone! While able, she would put forth extra effort to stay in touch with family & friends. When family or friend called -she enjoyed her time on the phone, and loved extended conversation.
David and Darla remember all her good home cooked meals, as food was always available along with plenty of Summer garden vegetables. When younger Betty and her husband both worked hard and rarely dined out; she could be found in the kitchen preparing family favorites any time of day.
