Betty J. Bailey

Betty is survived by her daughter, Sharon Ann Ashworth; her grandchildren, Shellie Ashworth, Tammie and Steve Voelker, John and Betty Ashworth; great-grandchildren, Shawn, Jessica, Warner and Daniel Ashworth; her great-great-grandson, Jayden Paul Ashworth; and other family members, Kay Williamson, Joann and Les Cartwright; and friends.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Sue Bailey; her husband, Warner Bailey; Her brother and sister, Donald Mickey and Marie Williamson; her great-grandson, Paul Ashworth; and her nephew, Fred Williamson.

Betty was born on Friday, April 23, 1926, in Three Sands, Oklahoma, to parents, John and Edith Weiselogel. She graduated from Prairie Valley in 1944. She married the love of her life and late husband, Warner Bailey, on Wednesday, October 10, 1945. They had two daughters, Sharon Ann and Pamela Sue, and enjoyed one another's company during their 60 years of marriage.

Betty was a homemaker and dedicated wife and mother. Always an avid animal lover, she was active with a spay and neuter program in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed the outdoors, time spent with her family and walks with her husband and dogs. Her family and friends will remember her passionate love for cats and her infectious smile. She will be dearly missed.
