Bette Jo Stephens

She was a graduate of Classen High School and attended OU. She married Carl Stephens on April 26th, 1947, and they were married for 71 years. During that time they had three children whom they adored: Sandy, Cathy, and Cindy. They spent most of their married years in Oklahoma City but also enjoyed time at Eufala in their retirement. Bette loved plants, puzzles, and shopping with her daughter. She loved getting things for all of her grandkids and great-grandkids and enjoyed various other activities surrounded by family.

Bette is preceeded in death by her parents, George and Nadine Bender, her brother, Jimmy George, her son-in-law, Don Welch, and her grandchildren, Glenn and Kelli Stephens. She has many family members that will miss her dearly: her son Sandy Stephens and daughter-in-law Karen, her daughter Cathy Welch, her daughter Cindy Stephens and son-in-law Bruce Johnson, her grandchildren Blake Welch, wife Hannah, and baby Emmy, Matt and Alicia Hunt along with their children Ryan, Alex, and Stacia Hunt, Michelle Anderson along with her children Leia Mullinax and Reagan Anderson, Dusty and Hannah Cook along with their children Amelia, Parker, Mason and Lee, Casey and Adrienne Cook along with their children Claire and Maverick.
