Barbara Ann (Dittmeyer) Chaney

She was a graduate from Capitol Hill High School, where she took cosmetology. After graduating, she met the love of her life, Bill Chaney, and they were married for 67 years.

Barbara loved horseback riding & roller skating in her younger years.

After marrying Bill, they enjoyed their kids, Mike & Rita, in all their activities. The family took lots of trips to the lake, where Barbara enjoyed fishing-LOTS of fishing. After the kids were grown, her and Bill still enjoyed the lake where they fished with many friends and family. Barbara & Bill enjoyed traveling with friends, as well.

Barbara is survived by her son, Michael Chaney & wife Olivia Chaney; daughter, Rita Baker & husband Ronnie Baker; grandkids: William Chaney & wife Brandy Chaney, Ester Hodge & Husband Steven Hodge, Travis Baker & wife Melissa Baker, Chance Baker & Wife Natalie Baker. Great-grand kids: David Chaney, Sara Chaney, Hayden Baker, Gabby Baker, Aubrey Baker, Beau Baker, Dylan Baker, Ezra Hodge, Elizabeth Hodge & Joshua Hodge.

she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Chaney, Father J.J. Dittmeyer, Mother Esther Dittmeyer and brother, Jeff Dittmeyer & wife Margaret.

Following the service, a lunch will be provided at the following address: 10920 Trinity Way, Moore, Oklahoma 73160.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service-South Chapel, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A graveside service will occur Friday, May 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Rresthaven Memory Gardens, 500 SW 104th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73139.
