Atha Maxine Harmon

Atha Maxine Harmon born April 22, 1939 passed July 25, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by father Marion Clifton Dyer, mother Willie Belle Dyer, husband Michael Harmon, daughter Sandy Denise, brother Joe Dyer. Maxine loved her family unconditionally as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved them all equally, finding something special in each and was always willing to sacrifice for them. She loved taking road trips to see old friends and family, games of chance, Chuck Norris, and her beloved dog Chi Chi. Mom was warm, funny, smart, a hard worker and tough as nails. She made every Christmas a glorious event with presents literally stacked to the ceiling - giving was her love language.

Survived by son David (Lisa, Lily, soon-to-be-born Lyla, Daisy), daughter and best friend Melissa, grandson Tyler (Everest), granddaughter Sarah (Jayme, Autum), grandson Richard, granddaughter Diana (Briten, Preston). Mom we feel you in our hearts, we always will because we are you, you made us. Thank you for that and all you did for us. We love you so very much!

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City.
