Aaron Romero

Aaron Romero, 12, of Newalla passed from this life on June 9, 2020. Services have been entrusted to the care of Advantage Funeral and Cremation Service and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 12pm at St. James the Greater Catholic Church.

Aaron was born on December 7, 2007 in Oklahoma City, OK. He attended school at Adams Elementary School in OKC before transferring to McLoud Public Schools where he played trumpet in the school band. He was excited to be entering the 7th grade in the fall of 2020. Aaron was a fun loving kid who enjoyed drawing, doing art projects, playing video games, and spending time with his cousins. He loved to cook for his family and often made bagel bites, omelets, and breakfast smoothies for his little brothers. He was a hard worker and took every opportunity to go to work with his dad, Fernando Romero Jr. He was a smart boy who got along with everyone. He was good at soccer and loved participating in BotBox Robotics competitions. Aaron packed a lot of wonderful memories into his short 12 years of life. He was a loving son, a protective big brother, a caring grandson, and a loyal friend who will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Aaron was preceded in death by his great grandpa. He is survived by his parents Nallely Nunez and Fernando Romero Jr; four brothers: Martin, Aldo, Nando, and Yarlan; grandparents: Blanca Patricia Lujan, Jorge Nunez, Martina Romero, and Fernando Romero Sr.; aunts and uncles: Yulisa Nunez, Jorge Nunez Jr, Santos Lujan, Hector Lujan, Carlos Lujan, Miriam Lujan, Erica Lujan, Manuella Lujan, Erica Romero, Luiz Maria Romero, Nayita Lujan, Mundo Carillo, Heriberto Lujan, and Aaron Lujan; cousins Hector Lujan, Cristian Lujan, Santos Lujan, Marcos Lujan, Noel Lujan, Vicky Lujan, Tania Lujan, Moses Lujan, Matthew Lujan, Ismael Mendez, Sebastian Mendez, Isaac Lujan, Camilla Lujan, Auden Lujan. He is also survived by his best friend Eric Lopez, as well as numerous other beloved family members and friends.
