On April 3rd, 2025, after a long battle with liver disease and then cancer, Al's "buddy", Bob Morrow, age 62, of Lisbon, NY, passed away peacefully at home. His sister Lisa was at his side to "torture" him.
He was loved and will be missed by his children, Kiersten and lan Morrow, and their mom, Tonya Shannon. Stepfather, Al Winney; siblings, Lisa and Mike Sharpe, Lorraine Morrow, Kenneth Morrow, James Morrow and Tina Montroy. His nieces, nephews and his great-nieces and nephews or, as he referred to them, "the heathens." His best friend, Jay Grennon "Ace", was at his side every day and was the focus of many of his "jabs"; many friends from days of hanging out in the garage or at the bowling alley. If he had a nickname for you, or you were the brunt of his jabs, you were his friend; and his Step-Sisters, Brenda Snyder, Lori Frank and Kimberly Winney.
He was predeceased by his mother, Marion Winney, father, Richard Morrow, and brother, Richard (Rick) Morrow.
He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and working outside, helping Al or going for a ride, making sure to take all the side roads. Taking the "heathens" for many rides through the woods on the wheeler and scaring them with tall tales. He enjoyed spending time with his cat Fester, befriending local foxes and deer, all traits he has passed onto his children.
Bob was a talented carpenter and built many houses along with his own. When he was no longer able to work, he crafted many lamps, vases, bowls and small wooden items that he proudly shared with friends and family.
His time here was far too short, and he had many more plans. He had the will to live and his family, who loved him the most will always treasure the extra time he fought for.
There are no services at this time, but a celebration of life will be at a later date. A special thank you to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley, (Candace, Edie, Kim and Peggy).
In lieu of flowers or donations, he would want you to go fishing, hunting, do a little gardening or just go for a ride and take the long way home, maybe even rescue a stray cat, make memories with family and friends and take pictures.
