

Surviving is his wife Ronda; two sons Robert Bouchey Jr. of Florida and Ryan (Brittany) Bouchey of Ogdensburg; a daughter Meghen Bouchey of Ogdensburg; brothers James (Sandy) Bouchey of Morristown; David (Theresa) Bouchey of FL and Randy Bouchey of Morristown; a sister Melanie Bouchey of Morristown along with grandchildren Julian, Weston, Julia, Johnathan, Shia, Miya and Rylie Bouchey.
Robert was born in Ogdensburg, a son of the late James & Elizabeth (Bell) Bouchey. He attended Ogdensburg Schools and graduated from Morristown Central. He later married Ronda Murphy on Aug 22, 1980 at Notre Dame Church.
He worked as a carpenter most of his life and was employed with Alcoa, Kimmins Construction, Ames Dept Store, Skelly’s Tire Center, as a mason in Florida and later as an auctioneer for Spencer Merry. He was a longtime volunteer for the Ogdensburg Neighborhood Center for 35 + years and a past member of the Morristown Volunteer Fire Department.
Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, rebuilding old cars, fishing, hunting, crafts, carpentry work and playing men’s baseball. In his younger years he also enjoyed playing football for OFA and was an accomplished swimmer making swims from Ogdensburg to Canada on several occasions.
