Patricia I. Whalen

A celebration of life will be held at a time to be determined in the summer. Arrangements are with the Fox & Murray Funeral Home.

Surviving is her daughter Tricia Carron & her companion Eric Merkley of Plattsburgh; three brothers Jerry (Linda) Streeter of Syracuse, David (Jody) Streeter of Gouverneur and Daniel Streeter & his companion Judith Nodzo of Syracuse; a sister Susan (Robert) Wood of Gouverneur; three grandchildren Keegan Munson, MacKenzie Brown and Charlotte Merkley; a sister-in-law Terry Streeter of Gouverneur and many nieces, nephews & cousins.

A brother James Streeter predeceased her in 2012.

Patti was born on July 7, 1951 in Gouverneur NY, a daughter of the late Earl & Jean (McCartha) Streeter. She graduated from Gouverneur High School and continued her education at Potsdam State where she received a Bachelors degree in Education.

Patti was the co-owner of a painting and office cleaning business for 40 years in Plattsburgh. She enjoyed going to the casino, traveling, bowling and visiting with friends and family.
