Linda M. Smith

Funeral services for Linda M. Smith, age 57 a resident of the St. Joseph’s Nursing Home and formerly of Ford Street in Ogdensburg, will be held on Wednesday (February 15, 2012) at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Deacon Francis Bateman officiating. Burial will be in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

There will be no public calling hours. Mrs. Smith passed away Saturday (Feb 11, 2012) at the nursing home. Arrangements are with the Fox & Murray Funeral Home.

Surviving are her children Patrick Smith and Paul Smith both of Ogdensburg; a daughter Tabatha Sharrow of Jesup, GA; two brothers Steven LaRock &his wife Kathy, Kenneth LaRock & his wife Becky both of Ogdensburg; a sister Laurie O’Brien of Ogdensburg; 6 grandchildren Teniele, Alec, Kali, Andia, Gracie & Ty and several nieces, nephews & cousins.

Linda was born on December 10, 1954 in Ogdensburg, NY, a daughter of Carl & Catherine (Lavigne) LaRock. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and was employed at CompAS as a soldering technician for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, crossword puzzles, search a word books and collecting beanie babies and dolls.
