A Memorial Mass for Gloria J. Morley, age 60 of Ogdensburg will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday (July 29, 2015) at St. Mary’s Cathedral With Rev. Joseph Morgan officiating. Mrs. Morley passed away on Saturday (July 25, 2015) at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Surviving is her husband Emmett “Roscoe” Morley; two sons Emmett “Roscoe” Morley & his companion Karen Murray of Heuvelton and Richard (Mary) Morley of Ogdensburg; a daughter Tiffany Morley & her companion Derek Lawler; two brothers Carl Dishaw and Edmund (Patti) Dishaw both of Ogdensburg; three sisters Sally (George) Kavanaugh of Ogdensburg, Jamie (Robert) O’Shea of Ogdensburg, Sissy (Larry) Latimere of Rochester; grandchildren Mariah Hurst, Sydney Morley, Mallory Morley, Bailey King, Emma King, Charlie Morley and Logan Carr, along with several nieces, nephews & cousins.
A brother Allan Dishaw and a sister Sheila Morley predeceased.
Gloria was born on July 24, 1955 in Ogdensburg NY, a daughter of the late Edmond & Jean (Gilmour) Dishaw. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and later married Emmett “Roscoe” Morley on April 29, 1978. During her career she was employed at the Ogdensburg City School District, Newell Manufacturing and Walmart where she retired from in 2008 as a customer service manager. She also operated the family farm with her husband and enjoyed her flower gardens, movie nights with her sisters, caring for others and spending time with her family.
