Daniel D. Hardy

Funeral services for Daniel D. Hardy, age 56 of Ogdensburg will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday (Sept 6, 2018) at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Pastor Reggie Curtis officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Flackville Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held also on Thursday from 11:00am until the time of the funeral. Mr. Hardy passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday (Sept 2, 2018).

Surviving are his two sisters Loretta McLear of Ogdensburg and Doris Brown & her companion Bub Kio of Lisbon; nieces & nephews Melissa McLear & her fiancé Jesse Austin, Meaghan McLear & her fiancé Matt Bogart of Ogdensburg, Danyette (Robert) Kimble of Ogdensburg, Randi (Bryan) Skidds of S. Carolina, Dillon Brown of Heuvelton, Marshall Brown of Ogdensburg; great-nieces & nephews Gage, Garrett & Gaiten Austin, Keegan & Kaden Bogart, Aime (Jake) Satterley, Johnathan Pribble, Alison Kimble, Jordan Pribble, Zack Kimble, Madyson & Damien Skidds, Christopher & Kyle Remillard and Annabella Brown; great-great- niece & nephew Rosaleigh Pribble and Brentley Satterley.

Daniel was born on March 21, 1962 in Ogdensburg NY, a son of the late Ralph & Ann (Healy) Hardy. He received his education from Ogdensburg Free Academy, and later became employed with the NYS Highway Department as a laborer. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, walking dogs, watching jeopardy and spending time with his family. He especially loved DAK the dog.
