Daniel L. “Dano” Dufresne, age 65 of the California Road, in the town of Macomb passed away on Thursday (Feb 9, 2017) at the Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown following declining health.
Surviving is a son Dustin Dufresne of FL; a brother Wayne Dufresne of Massena and a sister Joann Chapin of Massena. A brother Edward Dufresne predeceased him.
Dano was born on Sept 27, 1952 a son of the late Reginald & Beatrice (Dox) Dufresne. He attended Heuvelton, Lisbon and Morristown schools for his education. He worked as a chef at the Cattleman’s East, The Fish Bone Café and the Galley Restaurant during his career, but had to retire early due to an injury.
He enjoyed watching sports especially the Baltimore Orioles & Buffalo Sabres, ice fishing, feeding the birds, riding his scooter, being in nature and spending time at home. He was a true friend to all that knew him, and will be missed by many.
