Surviving are his children Paul (Alissa) Baker of Ogdensburg, Clyde Thomas Jr. of Plattsburgh and Pearl Thomas of Ogdensburg; grandchildren Tyler Armstrong, Sabrina Baker, Alisha Baker, Donald Baker, Damien Winkel and Clyde Thomas Jr. III; great-grandchildren Joslynne Baker, Liam Joanette, Payton Armstrong and Able Armstrong; a brother Daniel (Tina) Thomas of Fulton; a sister Pearl Thomas LaRue of Hammond; along with nieces, nephews & cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother Fred Thomas and two sisters Irene Thomas & Alice Carr.
Clyde was born on July 1, 1952 in Ogdensburg, a son of the late Al & Jennie Mae Thomas. He attended Ogdensburg Schools for his education and later entered the US Army in 1969 to 1973 when he received his honorable discharge.
During his career he farmed, worked as a laborer at Hershey Chocolate, and armed security for the Rochester Museum of Natural Science until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his motor cycle and loved his family and cherished the time spend with them.
