Surviving is his wife Gail; two sons Charlie (Shandrica) Wilkinson of Ogdensburg and Kevin (Julia) Wilkinson of Lisbon; grandchildren Addison, Brennen, Caleb, and Damon; brothers-in-law Gary (Christine) Denny of North Carolina, Terry (Denna) Denny and Wayne (Ann) Denny both of Lisbon; an aunt Amy Erwin of Ogdensburg; along with many cousins.
He was born on November 2, 1949, in Ogdensburg, a son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Erwin) Wilkinson. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and continued his education at Canton ATC in the Agriculture and Lab Tech programs. He enlisted in the US Airforce in 1970 and received his honorable discharge in 1974.
He was married to Gail Denny on March 6, 1971, at the First Presbyterian Church in Ogdensburg. After his military discharge, he worked for Allieo Cheese, Ogdensburg Building Supply, NOCO, and AJ Septic. He retired in 2014.
Chuck enjoyed bowling, camping, concerts, traveling, watching NASCAR, going to flea markets, jigsaw puzzles, collecting steins, spending time with his grandchildren, and watching their sporting events.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, beginning with visitation from 11:00am until the time of the service at 2:00pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Entombment will be at a later date at the Oswegatchie Mausoleum.
