William W Stevic

ODESSA William Wayne "Bill" Stevic, 88, of Odessa passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011 at his residence. He was born March 20, 1922 in Marshallville, Ohio to William and Eleanor (Averle) Stevic. He was a Marine veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Odessa Lions Club for 45 years, and a member of the Texas National Guard for 40 years. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. He worked for Ector County Abstract for 35 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda June Stevic; son, William Wayne Stevic III, of Dallas; daughter, Anne Chappel of San Angelo; his brothers, Richard Stevic of Phoenix, Ariz., Russell Stevic of Columbus, Ohio; grandson, Michael Stevic of Issaquah, Wash.; and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.with Father Mark Cannaday officiating.
