Whitney was born in Odessa, Texas to William C. Carson and Lane Carson. She lived in Odessa for 22 years then moved with her mother to Georgetown, Texas in 2007. Whitney and Lane loved to travel. The beach was her happy place! Any beach…. One of her friends said “Here’s too many walks with Jesus on the beach.”
Whitney accepted Jesus in her heart at a very early age. She lived a very colorful life and Jesus went with her every step of the way. She made so many amazing friendships during her journey. I have been told, “Once you met Whitney, you will never forget her.” She loved her Mother, her Father, her Bubba, her best friend James, and her “son” Jeremiah.
Whitney is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Dot and Darwin Etheredge and her paternal grandparents Mary Frances Baker and Dr. Willis Carson. She is survived by her mother Lane Carson, her father Will Carson, her brother Adam Carson, four aunts, one uncle, and five cousins. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 6931 Arlington Road 2nd floor Bethesda, MD 20814.
Go rest high on that mountain Baby Girl. I love you all the way around the world and back again.
