Wanda graduated from Ector High School Class of 1977. She was employed by Odessa College in the registration office for over 15 years and worked for Pro Com Communication as a PBX operator for over 10 years.
After recovering from her horrific car accident on September 11, 2015 she went on to work for Camp Fire until her untimely passing. Wanda gave her life to Christ at the early age of eight years old. She was a Bible study teacher at her local church prayer house, COGIC. She was a very vibrant and loving person. She loved her fashions, she loved to travel and she loved her family.
She is survived by her mother, Pearl Ward, of Odessa Tx, her daughter, Tenille Washington (Cedrick) of Odessa Tx, brother's Benjamin Williams, (Emelita) of Las Vegas NV. Kenneth Washington Lancaster CA. sister Carolyn King of Waco Tx sister Synthia Washington of Las Angles CA. Grandchildren Dekevis Washington (Amber) of Odessa Tx. Jared Washington of Odessa Tx K'Lynn Harris of Odessa Tx greatgrand children's Jaheim and Paisley Washington, Special nephew , Courtney Williams of Los Angeles, California
A viewing for Wanda will be held Friday, January 20, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 N Jackson Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Prayer House Church of God-Christ, 404 Foster Ave, Odessa, Texas 79763. A burial will occur Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E I-20 Business Loop, Odessa, Texas 79762.
Serving as pallbearers are Cedrick Harris, Dekevis Washington, Jared Washington, Bryce Ward, Julian Jones, Courtney Williams, Trent Session and Quentin Hunter.
