Wanda M. Bryant

Wanda was born on August 15, 1924 in Taylor, Texas to Thomas Morgan Molen and Alma Olina Wilson Molen. She married Ralph C. Bryant on May 9, 1942 in San Antonio, TX. She was active in the raising of her four children whether it included school or church activities. The Family was at the Church every time the doors were open and perhaps when they weren’t. For 18 years Wanda worked in the cosmetics dept. at Dunlap’s dept. store. She was generous, caring and well liked by everyone she came in contact with. She never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone no matter where she was.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Odessa where she enjoyed her SS Class and participated in many of the parties throughout the years. One of her favorites was the senior trip to Branson, MO.

The last 4 years Wanda lived at Polo Park Estates in Midland, TX. where she made many good friends. While there she loved helping the social director decorate for holidays.

Wanda is preceded in death by her husband Ralph C. Bryant, and one son, Tommy R. Bryant of Odessa, TX.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Hoyle and her husband Larry of Matador, Sandra Bell and her husband Larry of Odessa, TX., and Carolyn Hicks and her husband Bud of North Richland Hills, TX. One daughter-in-law, Lynda Bryant of Odessa, TX., and also 9 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by a multitude of relatives and friends.

Visitation with family will be 7:00p.m.-8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors in Odessa, TX.

Services will be at First Baptist Church in Odessa, TX. at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2012. Burial will follow at Ira, TX. Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
