She was born May 31, 1940 in Iowa Park, Texas to John and Lena Hunter.
Ms. Hunter was a resident of Odessa since 1954. She graduated in 1958 from Odessa High School and also attended Odessa College.
She enjoyed sewing, china painting and being with her long time friend, Jim Browne.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Tana Jones.
She is survived by one daughter, Cassie Hicks of Odessa, three grandsons, Neil Riggen and wife, Tessa of Gardendale, Jeff Riggen and wife April of Odessa, and Michael Hicks and wife Heather
of Kansa City, MO, plus six great grandsons, Jayden, Kyle, Frankie, Jaxson, Blake and Brener.
The family will receive friends from 7-9pm Friday, January 9, 2015 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Funeral service will be 10am Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be at 3pm Saturday in Snyder at Hillside Memorial Gardens.
