In our heavenly kingdom and in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found a beloved husband, father, son, brother and dear friend. Tom B. Lewis, 94, of Odessa, TX passed away June 13, 2016 in Odessa.
He was born December 30, 1921 in Lamesa, TX to Luther and Johnie Lewis.
He graduated from Klondike High School and joined the Army in 1940 serving in the Pacific Theater in WWII.
He received multiple Bronze Stars, the Bronze Medal and a Purple Heart.
After being discharged in 1945, his career included working for El Paso City Lines, Standard Oil, El Paso Products and Shell Oil.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers, 3 sisters and a son Tom B. Lewis Jr.
He is survived by his wife Majol Lemley Lewis of Odessa. Tom was a member of Crescent Park Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 10:00a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016.
Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
