Saul Ramirez

Saul Ramirez, age 73, of Odessa, passed away in peace surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Saul was born in 1948 in El Tecolte, Chihuahua, Mexico to the late Ramona (Lujan) and Irineo Ramirez.

Saul Lujan Ramirez was a warm, loving and generous father, son, brother and friend. He enjoyed watching boxing, playing cards, and spending time tending to his pets. During his lifetime, as long as he was working, he was a happy man. His faith in God carried him peacefully until the end. He will be remembered as a hard-working individual who consistently put his family first. He and was the eldest of seven children. He later met and married Aurora Ramirez in 1977 and together they had three children in Odessa.

Saul is lovingly remembered by his family. He leaves behind his three children, Christina (Jack), Saul (Magen), and Neri (Corima). Five grandchildren, Haylee, Emily, Eliana, Alina and Camilo; and one great grandson, Jaxxon. He is also survived by his six siblings, Cosme, Mary, Elia, Silvia, Aracely and Heriberto. Saul will also be forever remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Aurora, and both his parents Ramona and Irineo Ramirez.

Public viewing will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 10 AM - 9 PM with the Rosary at 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 1 PM at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church followed by burial at the Odessa II section of Ector County Cemetery.
