Sarah was born August 28th, 1963 in Carlsbad, NM to Ronny and Betty Meeks.
She graduated high school from Odessa high. In her younger years she enjoyed swimming for San Angelo teams. She married Nils Allison on August 29th, 1981. Together they had two children, Danielle and Matthew. Sarah then attended Odessa College earning her associates degree Computer technology.
After Nils' passing, she married Eldon Egger in Roswell, NM on July 8th, 2021.
They enjoyed traveling to many places throughout their time together.
She loved being Grammy to her 6 grandchildren.
Sarah was passionate about taking care of the people around her and helping them to achieve their goals.
She is survived by her husband, Eldon, her daughter, Danielle, her son, Matthew, his wife Jennifer and their 6 children, Hunter, Abigail, Hannah, Andrew, Avery, and Hudson. As well as her mother Betty Smith; sisters, Holley Meeks and Rhonda Callender; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of friends.
Sarah is preceded in death by Nils Allison; her father, Ronny Meeks; her grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family takes comfort knowing that Sarah is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The pallbearers for Sarah's services will be Matthew Allison, Hunter Allison, Tommy Cobos, Jet Brown, Skeeter Fulton, and Mark Sutton. Andrew Allison and Hudson Allison will be honorary pallbearers.
A visitation for Sarah will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home, 601 N Alleghaney Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 601 N Alleghaney Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A food & fellowship will occur Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 601 N Alleghaney Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A committal service will occur Friday, November 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E I-20 Business Loop, Odessa, Texas 79762.
