Ruth Carolyn Ederington McLeod

Ruth Carolyn Ederington McLeod, 84, of Odessa passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at Saddleridge in Midland. She was born June 26, 1929 in Fordyce, Arkansas to Samual & Janie (Busbee) Ederington. She graduated from the University of Arkansas and received her Master’s Degree from U.T.P.B. She had taught science at Hood Jr. High for 25 years. She was a member of the Medical Center Hospital Women’s Auxilary. She was a member of Highland United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ray McLeod. She is survived by her son, Don McLeod of Odessa, daughter, Debra Blakeley & husband Patrick of Midland, (3) step-grandchildren, & (3) step-great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Child’s Cemetery in Banks, Arkansas with Rev. Gary Maskill officiating.
