Ruby Laverne Wilabay

She was born February 19, 1923 to John and Nanny Renfro in Colmesneil, Texas. Ruby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. Ruby was a great homemaker, wonderful cook, seamstress, and quilter. She was a longtime faithful member of Greenfield Acres Baptist Church.

She was survived by her daughters Janice Ripley and husband Rod of Midland, Texas; Saundra Crenshaw and husband Bobby of Fredericksburg, Texas, 5 grand-children Terri Pope, Jeff Crenshaw, Penny Kayton, Shauna Todd and Kevin Ripley, 7 great-grandchildren and 3great-great grand-children.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lewie and Nanny Beasley and her husband James Wilabay.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 10 am at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Bartlet Officiating.

Memorials can be made to Greenfield Acres Baptist Church or Meals on Wheels
