Rosemary Ruth (Dietz) Tittle passed away Monday July 11, 2016 at her home in Mesquite, TX with her family by her side. Rosemary was born in Palestine, TX. January 28, 1927 to Harold Hugo Dietz and Ethel Lester Dietz. She attended Sam Houston State University where she met her husband Paul Glenn Tittle. They graduated in 1949 and were married June 3, 1950. They moved to Odessa in 1959 where they both became teachers. Rosemary began her teaching career at Ector High School and later transferred to Permian where she retired after 29 years. After retirement, she became active with the Permian Basin Master Gardeners where she also served as president. Rosemary loved volunteering with the group and worked to make Odessa a more beautiful and green city. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Paul and grandson Kiefer Cody Holman. She is survived by her son, Paul Glenn Tittle, Jr., daughter, Terry Lee Tittle Holman and her husband, Robert Holman and grandson, Tanner Lee Holman and his wife Ashley, her adopted grandson Brandon Rodriguez and his wife, Robin. Visitation with family and friends will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted Friday, July 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM by the Reverend O. I. Cricket Harrison at First Christian Church, 601 N. Lee Ave, Odessa, TX. with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
