Rodrigo Aguilar Sr.

Rodrigo Aguilar SR, 75, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born March 5, 1937 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Ynes & Carlota (Hernandez) Aguilar. He retired from Longhorn Custom Coating. He was Catholic.

Rodrigo Aguilar was a devoted parent, but most of all, a loving and caring husband. His eternal love for his wife Tina will always be remembered.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Rodrigo Aguilar JR, & grandson, Angel Aguilar.

He is survived by his wife, Augustina Aguilar of Odessa, sons, Rodrigo Aguilar JR & wife Gabriela, Rogelio Aguilar, Cesar Jacob & wife Sally Chavez, Javier Aguilar & wife Sylvia, Fernando Aguilar & wife Patricia, Fermin Aguilar , all of Odessa, & Jorge Aguilar of Alice, TX, daughters, Yesenia Ramirez & husband Michael, of Odessa, & Hilda Salazar & husband Juan Rivera of Alice, TX, brother, Humberto Aguilar & wife Enedina of Odessa, sister, Luz Maria Cortez & husband Braulio of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, (30) grandchildren, & (20) great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews & cousins.

A Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Arturo Pestin officiating. Interment will follow at Ector County/Rosehill Cemetery.
