He worked as a Land and Right of Way Agent. He was actively involved in golfing, fishing, and deer hunting, and was an avid reader.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orval Gene Rogers and Ann Adams Rogers, and his brother, Skeet Rogers.
He is survived by his two sons, Robert Duane Rogers, Jr. and wife, Raleigh Rogers of Monroe, Louisiana, and Justin Kirk Rogers and wife, Katie Rogers of Russellville, Arkansas. Also, three brothers; Skip Rogers and his wife, Karen, Mark Rogers and his wife, Amy, and LaDayne Rogers; one sister, Tanya Ivy and husband, Jimmy Ivy, and long-time companion, Neva Rogers. He is also survived by two step-sons, Henry C. Moore, Jr. and wife, Michaela Moore, and Daniel J. Norris and wife, Lauren Norris; one step-daughter, Michelle Norris Schwarzlose, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Duane always loved meeting up with High School friends from Malvern, Arkansas for fishing every year at Caddo Lake. He also loved going to the deer lease in Cristoval, Texas with his brother, Mark Rogers, and buddies Donnie Pickens, and Steve Hetsel. He also loved to play golf with his great friend, Bob Ray, and other friends.
