Robert Dale Dunn

Robert was born on October 15,1949 to the late Euin Casey Dunn and Annie Ray

He graduated from Odessa High School in May of 1969. Robert then went on to Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri where he earned his degree of Theology in May of 1974. Robert never married but he devoted his life serving as a caregiver to members of his family who he cared for very much. He worked for the Ector County ISD as a Custodian for over 33 years before he retired in 2011. Robert was a member of the First Baptist Church of Odessa where he was involved with his Sunday school class as well as other ministries. He also was involved with the Prison Ministry through Tabernacle Baptist. He truly had a servant’s heart.

Robert is survived by two sisters, Betty Jean Conover of Odessa, and Mary Lou Miles of Virginia, and his brother Ricky Lee Dunn and wife Cheryl of San Angelo, Texas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his father Euin Casey Dunn, his mother Annie Ray (Rogers) Dunn brother Euin Ray (Bud) Dunn, and sister Virginia Ann Griffith.

A visitation for Robert will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home, 601 North Alleghaney, Odessa, TX 79761. A celebration of life service will occur Friday, November 15, 2024 at 1:00 PM, 601 North Alleghaney, Odessa, TX 79761. A committal / burial will occur Friday, November 15, 2024 at Ector County Cemetery, 300 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, TX 79761.
