Raymon Edward Laird Jr.

Raymon Edward “Ray” Laird Jr. 77, of Odessa passed away January 11, 2011. He was born May 16, 1933 in Houston to Raymon Edward Laird Sr. and Bessie Martin Laird. He graduated from Kermit High School. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord, retired after 32 years with National Supply. He was a member of the Optimist Club and the Toast Master.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lynda, sister, Pat, and son, Tray.

He is survived by his son, James Laird and wife Gaylia of Dallas, daughters, Debbie Robertson of Midland and Mary Hanson of Odessa, grandchildren, Justin Robertson, Jason Robertson, Mahlee Laird, Hannah Laird, Landry Laird, Tim Hanson, Lyndi Hanson, and Ella Hanson.

Visitation will be from 6pm-8pm Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Funeral will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2011 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Preston Weatherly officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to the Parkinson Disease Foundation.
