Patsy Lynn Alexander Terrell passed from earth into heaven on December 20, 2022. She was born on July 6, 1941, to Clyde and Opal Alexander in Colorado City, Texas. Patsy was married to Charles Ray Terrell on February 4, 1961, in Odessa.
Patsy loved the Lord, inviting Jesus into her life when she was 11 years old. She was an active member of Crescent Park Baptist Church. For more than 25 years, she taught and directed fourth and sixth grade Sunday school. Teaching children to love Jesus was her greatest joy. She sang in the choir for 43 years. Patsy was co-owner of Terrell Employment Service alongside her husband, Charles, for 59 years where she helped find people employment, counseled many on life choices, and gained many friends and acquaintances. Patsy enjoyed Texas and Civil War history, family genealogy, arts and crafts, cooking, playing dominos and card games, antiquing, and being with friends and family.
Patsy is survived by her sister, Beverly McGuire of Canyon Lake, TX; her sister-in-law, Jolene Gamble of Hobbs, NM; her precious daughters, April Terrell-Burns and husband Ricky of Odessa, and Tiffany Kelley Nolen of Austin; her three treasured granddaughters, Courtney Kelley, Chynna Goree and husband Daniel, Emerald Terrell; in addition, numerous cousins, a nephew, and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her loved in-laws, her dearest husband, Charles, and many others.
Services will be held at Crescent Park Baptist Church, 3002 E University on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Frank Wilson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crescent Park Baptist Church or one’s charity of choice.
